Take a stroll through a serene natural environment, at a height of 8 - 25 meters above the forest floor. With an overall length of 1300 meters, the treetop walk in the Bavarian Forest National Park is among the longest of its kind worldwide. For adventuresome visitors - kids and adults alike - there are fun features with rope bridges, swinging bridges, trapezes and balancing beams.
Take a fresh look at forest life from a completely new perspective - if you like, with one of our forest guides. The walkway leads past clearings and deadwood areas up to the majestic crowns, before branching off to the enormous tree tower. From there, the path ends level to the ground in front of the entrance to the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus, where all sorts of further information about the Bavarian Forest National Park awaits you.
Dogs (or any other animals) are not permitted on the walkways. Dog crates with drinking water are available at the entrance to the facilities and at the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus.
